Today I’m over at Nina Badzin’s blog talking about how I manage to make time for my favorite hobby–writing. If you don’t know about Nina yet, you really should. She’s a published fiction writer and champion blogger whose “Hobbies & Habits” guest series features great insight on working balance into life. Thanks, Nina, for hosting my article. And readers, please feel free to hop over there and comment!

Sarah, your writing about carving out time in short spurts when you were writing with a new baby struck SUCH a chord of memory with me, when I wrote some pretty good stuff when my own children were quite small. They always knew this–so they prodded and poked me into full time writing again, beginning last September. Hooray for adult children who know what is best for you. I loved your post over at Nina’s blog and am so glad you guest-posted over there. You know I just depened upon your posts at writeitsideways!

Thank you, Rose! I love that your children are in tune enough to recognize your talents and encourage you to carve out space to cultivate them. A testament to your mothering, I am sure.
